At the end of 2021, we were fortunate to receive a generous donation of sustainable face masks from WingGuard for our Nepalese partners.
One of the main goals of Akasha Academy is to offer education based on universal ethics. A first step towards implementation is being taken within the framework of the “Akasha Traineeship” training.
Due to the pandemic, the originally planned “Basic Health Counsellor” training was adjusted to a “train the trainer” program to educate and inform about Covid-19.
Dr. Shakti Chaurasiya is the president of the Nepal Medical Student Society. Since the detection of Covid-19 in Nepal, the organisation started a project for protective clothing for doctors and medical staff, which is also supported by Long Yang e.V. and Akasha Academy NGO.
In 2017, Long Yang e.V. has restored the drinking water supply of the region Suntakhan together with Akasha Academy NGO and the village committee.
