Under the motto of “Global Guardians”, Long Yang NGO launched a children’s education program in Munich about the elements of nature and their interconnections.
In nature, everything is connected – even though it might not be so obvious at first sight. The interactive story of Willy the whale shows children what interdependence practically means for their own and others’ lives.
Long Yang NGO launches children’s program this spring. In 5 interactive workshops, children learn about the 4 elements water, fire, earth, air and their qualities in a playful way.
Many schools in Nepal, especially in the rural areas, lack heating and electricity. We have provided more than 850 new warm school uniforms to keep the young students warm during winter.
As the first year of our Akasha Traineeship program is coming to completion, it is a good time to reflect on the positive development and all that has happened during the last months.
Getting practical! Last week students of the Akasha Traineeship program conducted their first community activity – to put into practice what they learnt within the last 5 months.
After months of preparation and a whole bunch of challenges the story of „Educate. Enable. Empower“ finally took off on sunny December 6th with 16 students being welcomed by officials from Suntakhan and board and staff members of the Akasha Academy NGO.
At the end of November 2021, participants of the “Covid-19 Health Advisor Training” received a certificate of participation. At the same time, interested women got detailed information about the Akasha Traineeship Program.
The Akasha Traineeship is a unique new training program in Nepal. Under the motto “Educate, Enable, Empower” the program creates a space and orientation for young women to discover their abilities and make their own decisions in their lives.
