Creating pathways for the future of our planet - presentation of our work

Nepal is one of the poorest and most vulnerable countries to climate change worldwide. In our presentation One Planet. One Voice. we put Nepal’s situation into perspective with the situation in Germany and show that despite big differences between the two countries we all need the same conditions to live: clean water, clean air and a balanced temperature.

With video contributions from Nepal, we provide insights into the situation on site. We present current projects run by the Akasha Academy in the fields of education, women empowerment, environmental protection and health, which inspire confidence and bring about a positive change for a future of our planet.

Munich Klimaherbst is an annual series of events that provides information about climate change and highlights ways to protect the climate. Around 100 events take place throughout Munich over several weeks in the autumn. The 2023 focus of this year’s Climate Autumn on “Climate Justice” emphasizes not just effective worldwide climate protection, but also the fair distribution of costs, burdens, gains, and benefits associated with climate change and mitigation efforts. The discussion spans present, future, and historical perspectives, addressing both local and global contexts.
