Education for 8,500 children in Nepal: Donate today
Together, we can empower 8,500 children in Nepal – helping them learn, grow, and protect our shared planet. Your support helps secure children’s access to education and to stay healthy during the cold winter months. Furthermore, through participating in our hands-on, environmental workshops “Global Guardians”, they understand their vital role in building a livable future on our planet. This is only possible with your donation!
Your donation of 50 EUR will:
- provide environmental education to 15 children, and
- supply clothing sets for 2 children in need.

Access to education - Why school uniforms matter
In Nepal, uniforms are mandatory for attending public schools. In theory, this rule promotes equality — helping children focus on learning instead of social differences. Low-income families, however, struggle to cover the costs of a new school uniform. By providing them with the mandatory set of clothes, we help children stay in school and warm in the unheated class rooms during the cold winter months. The new uniform, which is oftentimes the only new clothing they get during the year, enhances their confidence and helps them feel part of their community.
Why environmental workshops?
Nepal is among the countries most affected by climate change. Unpredictable rainfall, floods, landslides, and insect-borne diseases are impacting people’s lives, especially those of children. Yet, most schools lack education that would give them tools to respond in a constructive way.
The Global Guardians workshops fill this gap: Through hands-on learning, children connect with the natural elements we all share and experience how their actions have an effect on their surrounding. This program goes beyond knowledge transfer, it fosters confidence, analytic thinking and mutual understanding – empowering the young generation to protect our common ground and create pathways for survival on this precious planet.
The Global Guardian workshops funded by this campaign are the beginning of a long-term program that empowers children through environmental education.
How we work
With over 25 years of project experience in Nepal, we cooperate closely with public schools, municipalities, and local communities. The project is co-financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, ensuring a solid foundation.
Your contribution enables us to expand our work to all 16 public schools in Gokarneshwor, ensuring every child has access to education and is given urgently needed tools to respond to the environmental challenges in a constructive way.
Together, we can empower Nepal’s children to take responsibility for their own future
